Morning finds Tara and Samuel locked in heated passion, but as the day progresses, doubts begin to cloud her mind. As the reality of just how different their worlds are sinks in, Tara begins to question if he truly wants her, or if she is just another notch on his bedpost. Does love conquer all, or is she trying to live a dream that is doomed from the beginning?
This 6000 word short romance is the sequel to Calming The Storm, and continues the tale of a powerful man who has the world at his fingertips, a curvy self conscious woman who wants nothing more than to be loved, and the hot unbridled passion that brought them together.
Excerpt:

“One second,” he spoke without ever looking away from her chest, “Tara I need the conference room set up with all the sales figures for this week, and the shipping as well. Oh and while you are at it, please inform Freddie he needs to at the meeting.”
“Yes Sir, and should I have security and maintenance on stand by for this meeting,” she asked only half joking.
Samuel shook his head as one hand waved her out of his office, and the other picked up the phone.
“Ok, where are we on the….” His words faded from her ears as she shut the door to go about her tasks.
As she selected and printed the requested documents, she dialed up the shipping and receiving department.
“Shipping,” came the thick deep voice of Freddie.
“Hey Freddie, It’s Tara, Mr. Henson wanted me to make sure you knew to be at the meeting today.”
“Yeah, I got the memo. Can’t say I’m looking forward to it, but I’ll be there,” he said flatly.
“Thanks, I’ll let him know,” and she hung up the phone.
She scooped up the papers from the printer and headed to the conference room to get set up. Once everything was ready to go, she turned towards the door and nearly leapt out of her skin.
She had never heard the door or footsteps, but there leaning against the inside of the door stood Samuel, intently watching her form as she had been hustling around the room.
“Damn Samuel, you scared the living daylights out of me,” she huffed as she tried to calm herself from the powerful surge of adrenaline that coursed through her.
His eyes were once again locked on her chest, and she noted the stir of emotion in his beautiful blue eyes. The desire could be seen as it began to waft around those orbs. She had him nibbling at the hook, and it felt good.
To be desired by a man of his stature, was the dream of any woman. But to know it, and feed the desire, was something not every woman had the opportunity to experience, and Tara planned to make the most of it. Whether this turned into a life long love, or a wild trip of sexual tension until Samuel was done with her. Just the thought of being wanted by this man made her melt. Her dream had come true, so while she had the chance to live it she would.
“Just came in to see if I could call the meeting yet,” he said as he stood upright.
“I’ll go send the summons,” Tara said as she stepped next to Samuel and reached for the doorknob.
Before she could turn it, a large hand wound in her hair, and twisted her head sideways to bring her gaze to his. With a small yank he pulled her into a deep kiss.
Adrenaline surge again at the thought of someone walking in to catch the two of them, and flooded into the desire that stirred deep inside her. The mix was intoxicating, and addicting. Her hand fell away from the doorknob, and she melted into his body.
Samuel broke the kiss, and left her wanting more as her fingers gripped the breast of his suit jacket.
“You are one naughty girl for tempting me at work,” he whispered in her ear, “I will remember that this weekend.”
He loosened his grip on her hair as her hand slid down his body until her fingers rubbed the raging hard on that stood tall in his trousers.
“Promises, promises,” she said with a wink and slipped out the door.

Tara walks into work one morning to find the office in an uproar. Her boss and fantasy man, Samuel is on an all out rampage. As his temper soars to heights she has not seen, everyone is in fear of his wrath falling on them.
Tara seeks to find a way to ease the big man's temper, secretly hoping for a sexual encounter between them. Will her Fantasy come true, or will Samuel's anger focus on her?
This 7300 word short story is about one girls dream of being loved by a man that until now she could only fantasize about.

Excerpt:
At the head of the table, Samuel sat leaned back in his chair, chin propped on his hand while a finger crossed back and forth on his full lips. Tara could not help but feel desire course through her, as this was one of the sexiest poses to her. Those eyes of his still appeared to have a storm in them that churned the beautiful blue like a hurricane ripping across the sea while he watched Chuck begin to clean up the coffee off the wall behind Scott’s recently vacated chair.
She sat down the stack of papers he had requested, and then eased the still hot coffee in front of him.
“The numbers you wanted Sir,” she smiled her warmest smile still attempting to soothe the angry beast inside him, “and I thought you might want this now.”
She let go of the cup, as he turned his attention to her. For a brief second the storm in his eyes calmed, and that smile appeared like a streak of welcomed sunshine that burst through a black cloud. She melted yet again and fought the urge to sit on his lap and curl into him. How badly she wanted to run her hands through his short auburn hair, and whisper in his ear that she could take his stress away for a while.
“Thank you my Dear,” his voice was soft and mellow.
The second passed and his gaze left her to pass across each face still at the table. The storm once again took over.
“Each and every one of you could learn a thing or two from Miss Morgan here,” his voice had the thunder back.
All eyes save those of Chuck were on her, the feeling was something she found most uncomfortable.
“Anything else,” she asked suddenly in a rush to get out of the room.
“That is all for now,” his response flat, eyes still focused on the sales team.
As she turned to leave, a massive hand slid inside her upper arm and brushed against her breast as it squeezed. She stopped; desire grew quickly from the touch. She turned back to him, the motion pushed the back of his hand harder against her breast. She swooned at the feeling, and wished her clothing as not in the way.
“Thank you,” Samuel smiled up from his chair with the most sincere look on his face.
“Anything for you Sir,” she cooed, truly meaning it to the fullest, then made a beeline for the door.
