While attending a business conference in New York, Phoebe runs into on old flame from her college years. Ethan was a mysterious man whose sexual tastes ran on the kinky side, and had scared her off all those years ago.
Over the recent years, Phoebe has come to understand her submissive side, and wished for a second chance with Ethan. Now she has the opportunity to try again, but while he seems willing to chat about the ‘good ole days’, he carefully avoids her attempts to seduce him into a night of kink. How far will Phoebe go to get her way, and will she succeed in changing the course of her life?
This 9600 word romance is the tale of a woman in love with a man she walked away from years before, and her plot to get him back, and includes a powerful alpha male, rough sex, and a bond that spans years of being apart.

Excerpt:
Yes the high school years had been a crushing blow to her self-confidence that spilled over to her first year of college. That was when she met Ethan, a boisterous and an egotistical hunk of an upperclassman that found her attractive, and coaxed her out of the walls she had built around herself.
“I’ve got to see him,” she spoke aloud as the door thudded shut behind her.
When she was perfectly honest with herself, running away from Ethan was the single biggest regret in her life. The trouble had been his sexual tastes. At the time Phoebe did not understand anything other than Ethan got off on having her tied up during sex. Those times had terrified the young and inexperienced girl she used to be.
As she grew older, Phoebe had come to understand what the powerful young man seen in her, a submissive to his dominance. And once she understood the submissive side of herself, she had gone in search of the only one who had ever understood her.
Until now she had never discovered his whereabouts.
“I wonder if he knew who I was,” she said as she absent-mindedly fluffed her hair in front of the mirror.
A knock on the door startled her back to the moment.
“Yes,” she called out.
“Your bags Ma’am,” came the young sounding voice from the hall.
Phoebe hurried to the door, this was her first opportunity to keep an eye out for Ethan. She propped the door open with one suitcase, then moved slowly to stall as long as possible with the door wide open. If he would just return to his room, she could talk to him.
Finally, the bell boy held his hand out for the tip, and the moment passed all too soon. She placed the tip in his hand, as he turned for the elevator.
“Hey, can you tell me which room Ethan Harrison is in,” she asked while hoping she didn’t sound too desperate, “I know he’s here on the ninth floor, just can’t remember what room.”
The hung man held his hand out and waited for another tip before he said a word. Phoebe handed over another bill, and the young man smiled.
“He’s in 916,” he confirmed.
“Thank you very much,” she said.
So it was him, and now she knew exactly where to find him. Now the only question that remained was how to re-introduce herself. Should she leave a note under his door while he was out? No, although that solution would make her feel safer, she had to catch him face-to-face, but simply walking down to his door and knocking just might be too forward.
Phoebe had no way of knowing what course his life had taken, and didn’t want to intrude when she shouldn’t. Here mind tried to think back to the moment he passed and stepped into the elevator. She could not remember seeing a ring on his finger, but then it’s not like she was looking for one.
She closed the door to her room, and sat on the end of the bed lost in thought. Marriage, she had a husband, if you could call him that. No kids, no love, just two people who paid the bills on one address. Neither her husband nor Phoebe were home much, and almost never at the same time. It’s not like she had anything to lose by reconnecting with her old lover.
